Compost tea is made in different ways by using compost as a beginning substance and making a solution obtained by steeping or soaking a substance. Compost tea can be home made or bought from nurseries or you can go online to find the various methods of making compost tea.

There are many benefits of compost tea and I will tell you why. Soil is everything for the plants and it should be full of nutrients. Millions of microbes reside in the soil and turn organic matter into nutrient rich soil. If pesticides and chemical fertilizers are used, they kill these good microbes and so, the soil loses its ability to produce its won nutrients.

Hence, it is vital to replenish the soil by adding back organic matter and here comes the compost tea. Compost tea is an extract produced from rich mature compost which is full of microbes and nutrients. When the soil is drenched with compost tea, it enhances the microbes and helps the structure and health of the soil.

Different plants need different treatments of compost tea and so, it can be blended to a specific design to suit the particular plant. When aeration is applied to the compost tea, the result obtained is multi fold.

The microbes present in the compost tea also breakdown the toxins and pathogens and turn them into good nutrients for the plants. Compost tea is also known to improve the flavor and taste of vegetables and produce more vibrant flowers.
